Day 01 : Cochin

Arrive at Cochin airport , report to travel and proceed to hotel after relax visit Chinese fish nets, Sea mouth, Beach walk way, Centuries old St. Francis church etc. Evening you can visit the lovely Cochin Marine Drive and enjoy the Sunset. over nights stay.

Day 02 : Cochin – Munnar
On the way visit Cheapara water fall, Wallara water fall, breath taking valley views and mountains, on reaching Munnar check in resort and enjoy the resort activities and overnight stay at Munnar

Day 03 : Munnar
Enjoy speed boat ride at Mattupetty Dam. View Tea Garden, visit Echo Point and the Eravikulam (Rajamalai) National Park.

Day 04 : Munnar – Periyar (Thekkady)
Proceed to Periyar. On arrival free time for shopping at Kumily Spice Village.

Day 05 : Periyar – Kumarakom
Visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary by boat in Periyar Lake. Proceed to Kumarakom.

Day 06 : Kumarakom
Enjoy the famous Kerala Backwaters ride at Kumarakom. Visit Kumarkom Bird Sanctuary The main attractions are local birds like the waterfowl, cuckoo, owl, egret, heron and the water duck, as well as the migratory Siberian cranes. Parrots, teal, larks, flycatchers, wood beetle, and other birds are seen here during their respective migratory seasons. Enjoy get-together with your travel companions in the evening.

Day 07 : Kumarakom – Cochin airport
on the route enjoy the city tour of Cochin. Visit Jewish Synagogue (Subject to Operation) and Dutch Palace. and proceed to Cochin airport.

 

Day 1: Cochin – Munnar

On arrival at Cochin Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station, proceed for a half day sightseeing of Cochin, covering places of interest, including Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Net and Indo-Portuguese Museum and later drive to Munnar. En route enjoy beautiful streams, small waterfalls, rubber, pepper, cardamom and tea plantations and thick forests. On arrival at Munnar, check into hotel for overnight stayDay 2: Munnar
In the morning, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Munnar covering Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai and Eravikulam Wildlife Sanctuary famous for the Nilgiri Tahr and tea gardens. Return to hotel in the evening for overnight stay.Day 3: Munnar – Periyar
After breakfast, depart for Thekkady by road (Approx: 124 kms / 3 hrs). En route visit the panoramic Western Ghat hills covered with spice plantations and an occasional view of waterfalls and streams, several types of spice plantations like cardamom, vanilla, pepper, cinnamon and clove. On arrival at Thekkady, check into hotel. Later proceed for boating on the Periyar Lake (optional) and experience a view of calm crystal clear Periyar Lake and sanctuary. Watch different wild animals while boating. Stay overnight at Periyar.

Day 4: Periyar – Alleppey (Houseboat)
After breakfast, depart for Alleppey by road (Approx: 155 kms / 4 hrs). On arrival, check into houseboat and spend the day at leisure. Houseboat cruise is the best way to explore the beauty of backwaters. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy lunch, evening tea/coffee with snacks and dinner on it. Stay overnight in houseboat.

Day 5: Houseboat – Cochin (Departure)
Spend the morning at leisure on the houseboat. In the afternoon, disembark houseboat at Alleppey and transfer to Cochin airport/railway station (Approx: 90 kms / 2 hrs) for onward travel.

 

DAY 01: ARRIVAL COCHIN

Arrival at Cochin airport and driven to hotel at Cochin (The checkin is at 12.00 pm).
Afternoon at 2.00 pm you could go for an optional sightseeing tour to explore the many fascinating highlights of Cochin which include – The Jewish Synagogue in what is locally called the Jew Town, St. Francis Church which is the oldest European Church in India, the Santa Cruz Basilica built in 1557 by the Portuguese, the Dutch Palace, the spice market and the 15th century Chinese fishing nets believed to have been brought by Chinese traders. Rest of the day at leisure. (Overnight at Cochin)
DAY 02: COCHIN TO MUNNAR
After breakfast , proceed to Munnar. You will visit Valara and Cheeyapara waterfalls on the way. Checkin to the hotel. Overnight stay in Munnar.DAY 3: MUNNAR
After breakfast proceed for Half sightseeing tour of Munnar. Mattupetty, Flower garden, Photo point, Honeybee trees, Mattupetty dam (speed boat), elephant arrival spot, Shooting point, Echopoint, Kundale dam.
Afternoon, Teamuesuem, Rajamalai, Pothamedu view point and blossom park. Overnight stay in hotel.

DAY: 04 MUNNAR-PERIYAR
After breakfast drive to thekkady and you will reach within 3.5 hours there.
Elephant ride and Spice plantation visit is optional.
The only attraction in Thekkady is boating through the wildlife sanctuary. The last boating time is 3.30 ( you have to stand in a queue to buy the boating ticket) and in the evening you may buy spices if you need from the Spice shops. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

DAY: 05 PERIYAR – KUMRAAKOM
After breakfast proceed to Kumarakom and checkin to a backwater resort. Enjoy the backweters and overnight stay in resort.

DAY:06 KUMARAKOM- TO ALAPPUZHA
Drive to Alleppey to embark on your private houseboat. Your houseboats or ‘Kettuvalloms’ are well appointed bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. Apart from the mesmerizing surroundings it’s the life along the coast that makes this a fascinating experience. The locals travel in canoes and you will find vegetable sellers, fishermen and other traders bringing household goods, door to door in small wooden boats. As you cruise along the backwaters you can ask your captain to stop at villages, paddy fields and other places enroute.
NB: The A/c in the House boat will work only in the night and that too in the bedroom from 9.00 pm to 6.00 am.

DAY 07: ALLEPPEY TO KANYAKUMARI
After breakfast proceed to Kanyakumari and visit Vivekananda Rock and after viewing sunset, come back to Kovalam for overnight stay.

DAY: 08 KANYAKUMARI- KOVALAM
After breakfast proceed to Kovalam on the coast of the Arabian Sea. In Kovalam you will have leisure on the beach. Here you can do activities like swimming, sunbathing, and walking on sandy beaches.
Apart from the leisure on beach you can also visit Kovalam Harbour where you will see more than hundred of small fishing boats. Later on you can visit the Fish Market and Fish Aquarium. (Overnight in Kovalam)

DAY 09: KOVALAM
After breakfast Trivandrum local sightseeing and come back to Kovalam hotel for overnight stay.

DAY: 10 KOVALAM – TRIVANDRUM
After breakfast proceed to Trivandrum for departure.
